Worship

WorshipWorship is about connecting our souls with God and with one another.  Sunday morning worship is a time to gather together; bringing whatever is on our hearts and minds to God and to one another.

Our time of worship includes both contemporary songs and hymns.  We often have a children’s time and some sort of special music.  There are opportunities for the congregation to respond, whether in responsive readings, call to worship or passing the peace.  There is also a time of sharing for people to share prayer concerns or praises before the pastoral prayer.  Of course there is a sermon as well.  An infant nursery and toddler care rooms are available during the sermon.

Finally, to answer the important questions: You may wear whatever you are comfortable in.  Some like to dress up to come to church, some wear t-shirts and shorts, and most are dressed somehow in between.  Whatever religious, socioeconomic, racial, sexual, political or any other background or representation you are, you are more than welcome to worship here.  Jesus desired that people would come to him with sincere hearts.  We believe the same is true today.
