Bible Text: 2 Peter 1:16-21 | Preacher: Keith Zehr | Oral tradition is the passing of stories from eye witnesses to others by telling the story over and over.  Much of the story of Jesus was first passed orally.  2 Peter was written as an assurance that those stories are true.  Since it is true that Jesus lived and died and rose again, and that he will come again, we can respond by living differently.  In doing so our lives provide evidence of Christ too.
