Busybodies and Meddlers
Bible Text: 2 Thessalonians 3:6-13 | Preacher: Keith Zehr | This passage has been used in the past to support or tear down social programs; causing divisions among believers. The Apostle Paul’s concern in writing this passage was that nothing would harm the community of believers. In our present context we often think about individual rights, yet in the early church it was all about the good of the community. The disorderly and disruptive–the busybodies and meddlers–do not benefit the good of the community.
