Bible Text: John 21:1-19 | Preacher: Adam Houser | Fishing often brings with it failure; as not every trip, and certainly not every cast, brings in fish.  Peter may have felt like a failure not only in fishing but in being a disciple.  Jesus appears to the disciples for a third time and redeems their fishing as well as Peter’s place in Jesus’ ministry.  Jesus redeems our failure by his love and restores us to his mission and purpose for us.
