Bible Text: Isaiah 11:1-10 | Preacher: Adam Houser | Series: Advent | There are all kinds of images surrounding us at Christmas.  Isaiah gives us different images for the coming of Jesus, God among us, and the Kingdom of God that was established by Jesus.  Advent is a season of waiting for something that is “here, but not yet.”  The Kingdom of God is also “already, but not yet” here.  This season we can hold onto new images that encompass Christmas and the Kingdom of God.
