Bible Text: Luke 16:19-31 | Preacher: Adam Houser | Series: Snakes and Ladders | The first deadly sin of this sermon series is Pride.  Pride is often considered the root of all sin.  It disorients people from God’s love in that it is an overabundant love of oneself.  The proud person compares themselves to others so that they can make themselves appear better.  At its worst, a proud person is so concerned about themselves that they cannot even see God.
